A sight of a leopard, more often than not, only lasts a few seconds. That means you always have to be ready with the camera, otherwise you might miss the shot.
That was exactly the case with this female leopard. We saw her cross the road quickly and followed as she walked along for a bit. We mostly saw movements in the bush which indicated her whereabouts. Eventually she came closer to the road and we realized she wanted to cross. Not wanting to block her path, we stopped and watched her move across the road right behind us.
For a couple of seconds before she crossed, she looked at me through the bushes with her intensive eyes. It was at that moment that I pressed the shutter.
