Graceful Giant

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the savannah, I spotted a solitary giraffe against the backdrop of rolling hills. I positioned myself with the vast expanse of the African landscape stretching out behind it, this way the giraffe seemed to embody the serenity and majesty of the wild. As I pressed the shutter, the oxpeckers who had been sitting on the neck of the giraffe picking off ticks, took flight. The timing was perfect and capturing this moment reminded me of the beauty and tranquillity that exists in nature's simplest scenes.
