The bond between a mom and her young is one of the strongest you’ll find in the wild, she will go to the ends of the earth to protect her cubs from danger. Therefore it’s always important to be extra respectful of a cheetah's space when she is with her cubs, to make sure not to put any unnecessary pressure and stress on her. So when I spotted these cheetahs in the distance, I made sure to very slowly make my way closer, constantly watching her behaviour for any signs of her not being happy with my presence. I believe that because I took it so slow and showed her respect of her space, she was happy with me to get close enough to capture this photo.
