The Face Behind the Lens

Hi! I'm Karolina Norée, wildlife photographer and photographic guide.

I was born and raised in Sweden and first set foot on South African soil back in 2016. As with many others, I instantly fell in love with the wildlife. Two years later, I made one of the biggest leaps of my life and moved to the country in pursuit of my dreams. After completing my nature guide training that same year, it was evident that my newfound knowledge complemented my passion for nature, and this is where my wildlife photography journey truly began. My experience of learning about the bush sparked a fire in my heart, and I quickly became fascinated with capturing the wonders of South Africa’s wildlife. 

My main mission is to inspire photographers to follow their dreams and explore the wild by bringing a little piece of Africa into your home. I believe in the importance of conservation through education and raising awareness, and I believe my work can bring you that understanding. By capturing a variety of animals, I hope to paint a picture of the diversity of wildlife and the importance of each and every role these individuals play.

Today, I am proud to say that I've been selected as a Sony Alpha Ambassador and wildlife photography guide, bringing my two passions for nature and photography together and sharing my knowledge and experience with people from all over the world while hosting them on safaris in Southern Africa.
